In Stores Now...

As Heidi Klum says, "In fashion one day you're in, and the next you're OUT."

We feverishly eat up all the new goods as they walk the runway, and then six months later-- when they're actually in stores-- we've totally moved on.

I however am still enthralled by Uncle Karl's pre-fall 2012 collection, Paris-Byzance. Noticing new windows in the Chanel boutique, done meticulously well, I saw a video of the show with commentary/interview by Karl running simultaneously below. In my opinion, these are the best "pre-fab" windows I've seen done from a retailer.

His passion for the craft makes these pieces something that will never fade...

It also seems Chanel sees the fleeting audience as an issue. Just as they did with Resort (run again atop a tower in Asia), they showed a rendering of the pre-fall collection in Instanbul for a group of fashion czarists on May 30th.
