New Storefront: Bliss Home & Design, Mill Valley

In the space previously occupied by the now defunct Smith & Hawken (sigh), which has set empty for about 2 years, popped up a new home store. From the highway these big monstrous busts and statues were all that stood out-- I thought oh no, not another one of those stores.

To my surprise, I peeked in the windows after dinner and found an eclectic array of home furnishings and "antiques" catered to the 'California look'.

Bliss Home & Design, with the first location originating out of OC, claims to also offer design (well I guess that's clear in the name) by Ohara Davies-Gaetano. However, their website isn't updated with this new second location. Here's my snapshots:

Not bad for a glorified strip mall?
