In honor of the Fourth of July, this Friday we're celebrating food. Good food.
And we're starting with dessert first.
Strawberry shortcake. A modern version. For baking idiots.
Saw this on the cover of the Whole Foods magazine while I was shopping. Knew we had strawberries at home, so just picked up some cool whip. Kiel did the rest....
Bake the 'shortcake' by making 'biscuits' from the back of a Bisquick box.
Slice strawberries, add sugar, let them get juicy.
Realize the cool whip is frozen, and microwave for 6 seconds.
Stack it up according to the picture.
Put First Wives Club on pause, eat.
